Heidi brings a deeply holistic and wellness-centered approach to occupational therapy, blending over 35 years of experience with training in yoga therapy, trauma-informed care, movement, mindfulness, somatic coaching, and sensory processing.

She works with children, families, and communities across school, clinical, and wellness settings, creating individualized supports that help clients build regulation, confidence, body awareness, and healthy routines in ways that feel practical and sustainable.

Heidi’s work emphasizes movement, nervous system regulation, emotional wellness, and functional participation, drawing from experience in pediatrics, community mental health, fitness, yoga therapy, and myofascial release.

Heidi has also taught and mentored students in university settings, where she has shared her expertise in occupational therapy, wellness, and integrative approaches to care with future clinicians and helping professionals. She offers parent coaching and family support, helping caregivers better understand their child’s sensory, emotional, and regulatory needs while building practical tools that support connection and everyday functioning at home.
