Izzie is certified as an occupational therapist in the Multicontext Approach, a skilled method of metacognitive reflection which emphasizes client autonomy when working through cognitive challenges. She works diligently to apply this and other evidence-based therapeutic methods to the unique needs of her clients.

Her background includes a Clinical Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Washington University in St. Louis’s top-ranked program. Her occupational therapy experience spans across community, hospital, and outpatient settings. She is especially passionate about supporting life transitions as a result of this work. In addition to individual work, she enjoys addressing life skills related to executive functioning in group formats. Prior to joining the NeuroMind team, she practiced at the Mayo Clinic, providing group and individual intervention in mental health and chronic pain rehabilitation settings.

In tandem with her work, she has 10 years of practice in the study of yoga and meditation. Through her own lived experience with ADHD, she has found this practice to be a powerful tool for self-growth. She is available as a support for those who are curious to learn more about the positive effects of these practices for the brain and nervous system.
